Why don’t people understand the meaning of NON-REFUNDABLE????
It means I do NOT refund your money back to you.
We have an advance purchase discount promotion which requires full prepayment and non-refundable deposit as part of the condition of getting this discount.
If you booked it, it means you understand the terms and conditions of this booking already. If you don’t, then you’re just one of the few million people who do not read fine print….and it’s not even that fine, it’s a standard Times New Romans size 11 font. And clearly stated in the website just before the “Continue” button for you to continue your booking process.
So why are you asking me for refund back now that you chance upon another promotion? You have to be responsible for your own research and your own decisions.
So no, my stance is clear, the booking is NON-REFUNDABLE!
I’m sure you’ve bought things and regret them later, but certain things you would never dare to ask for a refund. Do you go back to the cinema after a movie and told them the movie sucked, please refund your money? DO you eat something and tell them to refund your money cos it was not delicious? Even discounted clothes have no trying and no refund policies. So what makes you think a hotel can refund a non-refundable booking?
And I have a personal policy where once I’ve bought something, I stop comparing prices cos it’s just not worth the trouble and heartache of finding it cheaper later. Perhaps you can try. I’ll let you practice it for free.
